WWAED Events

WWAED Level 2 Practical - 20th October 2011

The WWAED held the latest DEFRA/RCVS approved Level 2 exam at Fox Covert Farm at Loughborough in Leicestershire. Graham and Holly allowed us to use their facilities and their horses and the rain held off to give us perfect conditions.

Matthew Barlow from the Home Farm Equine practise was the veterinarian in attendance to take of any healthcare requirements for the horses and also to act as an independent observer for the examination process.

Gary Khakhian, the WWAED Executive Director was the Chief Examiner and Nat Heal, WWAED Vice President Level 2 qualified dentist was the assistant examiner.

As with our previous Level 2 practical, the day was another one of those perfect days where everything ran to time and there were no problems or hiccups.

We would like to offer our thanks to Graham and Holly Smith for making the facilities and horses available and Matthew the vet for his speedy work and efficient assessments.

We would also like to congratulate all the successful participants.

The WWAED have now announced the dates for the next planned Level 2 Theory Training course as well as the next planned Level 2 Theory Practical. The WWAED Level 2 exams are open to all and applications are welcome from non WWAED members as well as WWAED members.
